The goal is a three meter (~10ft) long trough that rests on the bottom of the pool against the end wall of the playing area. The back of the trough is 180mm (~7 inches) high and the trough is 120mm (~4.5 in) from the front to back. In order to score a goal, the puck must completely enter the goal volume and touch either the back or the bottom of the trough. The goal volume is defined as the area of a three dimensional box enclosed by the three meter length, 120mm width of the trough and the 180mm height.
