Underwater Hockey is a sport that relies heavily on teamwork. The players that make up a team must use their teammates for the simple reason that everyone needs to leave the puck when surfacing to breathe. No matter how good a player is, no single player can “hog the puck" for the entire game. This helps to create one of the most teamwork focused sports available.
Teams around the world have developed different formations for how to arrange their players. There are teamwork drills that can be used to reinforce many of the strategies that make up these different formations.
